Resumen
This book offers a new way of looking at the jewels of Morocco. For a long time, the traditional arts of this country have been examined in a purely documentary and sociological perspective. Jewels were discussed in a cursory manner, while avoiding any appraisal of the beauty they capture from the indiscernible, and this meant that much was left by the wayside. By analyzing the shapes, material, reliefs, brilliance, mass, patina, wear, color and even smells of the jewels of Morocco, this book re-establishes them in their rightful position as works of art. These jewels are no longer merely the work of a specific culture, but become universal. Freed from their tribal prison, they blossom in the world of shapes and colors, becoming jewels of the world, displaying their beauty to the eyes of all.<
